Who is this Specialist Training for?
Our free Specialist Training is open to all statutory professionals who work in roles with a legal duty to safeguard and support young people.
This includes:
Youth workers
Social workers
Teachers and school staff
Safeguarding leads

What will the Specialist Training for Youth Practitioners cover?
This modular, evidence led training has been developed with input from practitioners and young people. It equips frontline professionals to support young people affected by online and interpersonal harm. The training focuses on safeguarding and digital risk, covering key themes such as digital manipulation, trauma-informed practice, and safeguarding in virtual spaces.
The training will help you to:
Build your skills, confidence, and peer support to safeguard vulnerable young people in today’s complex online landscape.
Develop a trauma-informed approach that considers all aspects of safeguarding, online harm, and offline behavioural concerns.
Apply de-escalation and resilience-building strategies to everyday practice to better support young people.
Connect theory to real-world practice through interactive case studies.
Access ongoing reflection and guidance with a best-practice guide and one-to-one checks with the lead practitioner for refresher support.
