Episode 1: Barriers to Employment

Join The Social Switch Project’s Operations Manager, Richard Smith, and three members of the Summer 2022 cohort of young people who are attending our Digital Skills and Employability course; Lee, Blessing and Sylvia.

The team discuss barriers to work such as Ableism, Racism, Ageism and also talk about the pressures of social media as well as remaining positive and taking steps to combat these barriers.

The Social Switch Project aims to support 18-25 year old into sustained digital careers or training. Delivered by Catch22 and Redthread and is funded by London’s Violence Reduction Unit.


Episode 2: Black History Month

In this episode the team discusses what Black History Month means to them as the future generation of young people in the UK. They also talk about the British education system and share their opinions on other relevant topics such as taking the knee in sports.
